Ummm.... not sure where to start with the foolishness of your statements.
You do understand this nation had a technological revolution since the nineteen sixties, correct? And you are saying that NASA had more advanced technology that “got them to the moon” then than they do NOW?
Please wake up and remember who worked for NASA in the early days (Nazis) and how much money they have taken from American taxpayers, and then think about why Obama said NASA’s mission was having to do with Muslims. Or something Islamic.

It isn’t as strange a statement as you make it out to be. There is a similar loss in technology for the 16” steel that was used on the WWII Battleships. Steel mills today cannot make it. The art and technique was ‘lost’ and would have to be remade with experimentation from scratch.
I think what the poster was saying is that, while we may have the ability to do it again eventually, we do not currently have the capability to do it TODAY.
