Alien Covenant. Nowhere near as good as Prometheus. If you didn’t like Prometheus, you’ll hate this sequel.

Not deserving of the mantel of “Alien”. BY FAR, the worst “Alien” movie.

Having watched Alien Covenant twice now, I totally disagree with your conclusion.

I came across the enclosed reviews of Alien Covenant and thought the authors did an excellent job of presenting the themes Ridley Scott sets out to accomplish in this movie and in Prometheus:

Combining the the themes and story arc begun in Prometheus, followed by Alien Covenant which takes place 10 years later and 17 years before the events in Alien, these "prequels" combined dovetail nicely with the Alien and Aliens universe and "fill in a lot of blanks" = questions unanswered before now in the earlier films.

Alien Resurrection was worse.

My son and his wife actually walked out of Covenant. It was that bad.

I revel in Ridley Scott's failures. He is a self-hating leftist creep who harps about Palestinians and smeared Christians in the absurdly false "Kingdom of Heaven." I wish he were gone instead of his brother Tony, who made many films showcasing the U.S. military (Top Gun, Crimson Tide), but who sadly left us in 2012.

The review in the paper said Christians would be disgusted by the portrayal of a Christian character in that (and the reviewer seemed happy about it). Any details?
