Gov. Greg Abbott’s visit to a shooting range to sign a bill into law got big attention when he took some target practice and made a crack about journalists. “I’m going to carry this around in case I see any reporters,” Abbott said with a grin as he joked with journalists covering the event, after he was given his target sheet. There was little attention paid to the remark at The Range in South Austin, where Abbott posed for a photograph.

If all reporters did the following:
* Who, who, what, when, where, why.
* Have Emily Post manners, dress to impress.
* Ask an "ah-ha" question to get an angle their competitors didn't.
* Respective the interviewee's time.
* And double source when it is investigative...
If they did all these poking fun at them or getting pissed at them and holding them in extremely low esteem would go away.

Action from our politicians is needed as well as words.
Donald Trump ordered restrictions on people from terrorist infested nations entering the country.
Governor Abbott will be judged by his actions in the end, not his words which he may walk back and apologize for anyway if reporters make a stink about it.
