Trump is calling Comey a liar, which he is, and accusing him of deceiving the nation by “leaking” lies, which I believe he has been doing.

Well, if Mr. Trump has knowledge that the “sources close to Comey” who are leaking are actually Comey himself, I would call it a warning.
No, I think the other way around, that Comey was illegally recording the President. Trump probably has evidence of such, but Comey had no chance to destroy them because SURPRISE he had no advance warning of firing.
No that just means it’s not literal ‘tape’ but actually stored in computer memory.

This morning conservative talkshow host Glenn Beck was making fun of Trump saying he thinks up his tweets when he’s sitting on the toilet.
Of course there are recordings. These are not just phone calls. We know the Libs have been recording Trump since at least the election. I am sure Comey & others have been recording Trump in many different forums. Trump knows this and is calling him on this. Trump and/or his staff or Secret Service has been recording important events. That is part of their jobs. Comey knows he was recorded. He also knows his own recordings are probably in trumps possesion. He is screwed either way.
By the way, people are falling into the same trap here as they did when Trump claimed he was first recorded. They are assuming these are phone wiretaps. This is not totally accurate. Trump did not call Comey at the Diner meeting. Trump and/or area may be taped. SS could be taped. Staff may be taped. There is a big difference between surveillance and wiretapping.

The day on which the out-of-town Comey was fired, I was the first and only one to post here that this gave the President the planned opportunity to seal the offices of Comey and his aides and assistants....and to swiftly remove all computers, files, tapes and other records and electronic devices.
I was right on the button...and it would behoove Comey not to try to out-smart or out-maneuver Donald J. Trump who is always a couple moves ahead in his thinking.
