FULL TITLE: Eight-year-old killed himself just two days after he was beaten unconscious by a classmate in school bathrooms
An eight-year-old boy committed suicide just two days after he was beaten unconscious by his Ohio classmates.
Gabriel 'Gabe' Taye was found hanging in his bedroom by his heartbroken mother Cornelia Reynolds on January 26.
At the time, officials at Carson Elementary School told her there was no evidence of bullying and that Gabe has simply fainted.

My kids have been out of school for 30-35 years.
They were all public school educated,all hard working taxpaying citizens raising families themselves.
This ONE dreadful incident in an iffy area doesn’t mean that all public schools should be condemned.

However - I’m not sure there are excellent public schools in most suburbs.
Public schools are filled with liberal teachers who are are not teaching the A, B, C’s. The schools are filling the kids heads with propaganda.
In liberal states, such as Massachusetts, they are teaching kids in kindergarten about homosexuality and alternative life styles. In kindergarten?

They ARE teaching the ABCs,and quite well in most cases, but as far as social issues go the parents have to be alert and teach the kids their own values.

I’d still homeschool with the way public schools keep on

The long term objective of government schooling has always been to destroy faith in God and break the bonds of family. It has been successful in achieving its objective. There is no viable government schooling system when it comes to faith and family. Only home, private or parent-run day schools (with no government money) are viable. Government-run schooling is FAR more destructive in the long term, than government healthcare. And yet many conservatives and Christians happily have their heads up their collective back sides when it comes to socialist government schools

This article is not the main reason. The indoctrination of our youth and the dumbing down of the populace has been going on for decades. The Alinsky plan is going well.

It could be that the report was just badly written, but there were things in the report that seemed peculiar.
First is the claim that a 8-year-old committed suicide. Yes, even younger children have deliberately killed themselves, but it is rare. Peculiar.
Second, "Gabriel 'Gabe' Taye was found hanging in his bedroom..." How does an eight-year-old boy successfully hang himself in a bedroom? Unless he's watched a lot of movies involving hangings and suicides or Googled "how to hang yourself" (yes, there are do-it-yourself sites and youtube videos on that) it would seem to take some skill and determination and a sturdy enough closet clothes bar. Yes it's possible, but still, peculiar.
Third, "His mother found him dead in his bedroom a few hours after getting home." So an apparently-single mom (no father is mentioned) comes home and doesn't check on her son for "a few hours," even though he vomited two days ago, was taken to the local hospital who told the mom it was "stomach flu," had stayed home the next day, and had "often visit[ed] the nurse's office." Not even a shout-out to her son's bedroom on how school went, or how he was feeling, or whether he wanted anything for supper? Peculiar.
Third, "Police had launched an investigation into the death of the young boy..." As they should given the apparent cover-up of criminal activity at the school and the peculiar things mentioned above.
At 8 years old, he was just a baby. An adorable little boy. It’s difficult to fathom how he even got the idea... Just heartbreaking. :-(
If it were simply ONE dreadful incident, you'd have a point.

The kind of behavior that drove this kid to suicide is rampant in public schools today.
With all of the talk about the leftists “war on boys”, it seems that boys (and men) are doing a good job of destroying each other without the leftists help.
