You do not need to be fat. Just have to have wide shoulders or be tall.

Maybe airline seats should be wide enough to accommodate fat people.

Airline seats are currently designed only to comfortably accommodate small children and adults with anorexia who have had their legs amputated.

It’s a perfect storm. The average passenger girth has expanded at the same time airline seats have been zapped by the shrink ray.

You’d think with the shrink ray also hitting the ice cream containers and candy packaging that it would all balance out, but no.

This guy should have flown JAL, which partners with AA. Reduces the risk of these situations to almost zero.

I have always believed that tickets should be sold on a per pound basis. Total the passenger and all his baggage. Sales and get the seats filled reduced prices should also be on a per pound basis. that way the airlines could justify putting in seats of different widths. Obese people could occasionally be given a break in Fat Specials.
