Last week The Federalist reported on an illuminating segment from a mid-1990s episode of “Bill Nye the Science Guy” that clashes directly with modern transgender ideology. It appears that someone cut this segment from a re-release of the episode.
In the clip reported on by The Federalist, pulled from the January 19, 1996 episode of the series, a young woman explains that “inside each of our cells are these things called chromosomes, and they control whether we become a boy or a girl.” She goes on to explain how we all receive sex chromosomes from both parents, leading to a fertilized egg’s 50/50 chance of being a boy or a girl.

According to Wikipedia, "....After graduating from Cornell, Nye worked as an engineer for the Boeing Corporation and Sundstrand Data Control near Seattle. While at Boeing, he invented a hydraulic resonance suppressor tube used on 747 airplanes....."

Regardless - his degree in ME has no bearing on his expertise in global warming science he likes to brag about. You’re defending a crank. I read about his invention also on Wikipedia but again it has no bearing. Just because I can fly 186 people at 550mph at 40,000ft does not qualify me to drive a bus with 58 people down a freeway at 65mph. Bill Nye the un-science guy is a fraud, his whatever degree notwithstanding.
Certified scientific facts are now grounds for being trashed. When a society rejects facts and forces you to accept pc “facts,” that society will not last long.
I never said his ME degree had any bearing on whatever you're talking about, climate change. I was just correcting the record that he did hold a degree in something, when you claimed he didn't. That's all.
