My “smart” TV has been connected to my wifi and the only thing it could do was tell me when it lost the connection.
Several times during a show.
It was irritating so we finally just turned off the wifi.
Works much better now.
Maybe I’m just old but wifi to me is a “hobby” connection, “real data” goes on wires. So my smart TV goes through the jack, don’t think I’ve even configured the wifi.
