You can bet the producers and high management chose the K's to be on the first show, and it was going to be done with or without Kelly's approval.
Coarseness and tabloid freaks sell! Producers go for ratings and news splashes when they want to get a show off on the right foot. The low-class Kardashian's being jammed down our throats is a sign of the times and an ever-increasing decadent society.
Recall that the same thing happened a number of nights back when the guest for the Tucker Carlson show's debut in O'Reilly's time slot was none other than Bruce Jenner, also of the Kardashian family! No surprise here, either!
The Big Enchiladas at Fox, like those at Kelly's network, were gambling that tabloid freak Jenner would be an enormous ratings draw for Tucker's new gig.
I doubt if Carlson had much to say about the choice at all. I didn't watch the Jenner interview...but I heard it was flat. It appears that the Murdoch brothers and the Tucker Show's producers gambled poorly...and lost.
