I was never able to get hubby to plant a paw paw tree. He just always says, that’s a big tree, and it would take too long to get fruit.

I’ve never had one, so I don’t even know if I would like the taste, but since it’s native, I figured it would do well. I did read somewhere that the trees stink like old socks.

If you get fruit, you can let us know first hand about the smell and taste - OK?

Will do. I’ve eaten many up until a few years ago. The flavor is out of this world. Creamy and sort of like banana and mango or papaya. Just unbelievably delicious.
