I got pinged last time for not doing the posting right. I don’t want to violate FR protocol again. Did I do it right this time?
[I don’t know why the libs keep trying to tell me it’s successful.]
No doubt the libs are heavily invested in solar power. They thought they were getting in on the ground floor of something HUGE & SERIES!
Solyndra part II?
Oh boo hoo!!
” I don’t know why the libs keep trying to tell me it’s successful. “
For the same reason the websites keep telling you that herbal remedy XYZ cures everything.
They are VERY Successful
In funneling money to liberals
Create a company, take several $millions of taxpayer money, go bankrupt, donate to liberal congressman. Repeat.
I am all for alternative energy but like earth day in the 70s nothing changed.
I was thinking about the pollution caused by electric cars, we know to build them, I have been told, make more pollution than regular cars.
And
Wudda ya gonna do with the expired batteries? How about when that battery dies, it costs 5000 dollars to replace - and many are not just let the car sit....more pollution.
Oh facts those pesky things!
Good post. The free market is the best arbiter of succuss ever created. If the value provided by a thing is worth what it costs, then it may succeed.
I expect more of the liberal govt funded companies to fold now that they will need to stand on their own more

If they didn’t have to buy all that NG to keep the turbines spinning maybe it could have been a going concern.
In the early days of car manufacturing there were 4000 car companies in the U.S. You can’t necessarily tell that much about the future of a technology from the number of companies dropping out.
Good luck getting those little power plants serviced, cleaned, and repaired, suckers!
Why you want to run your own power plant is beyond me. I pay good money to have professionals run power plants far away from me and to keep the systems delivering the power to my house in tip-top shape. The system works well (at least until government meddles and makes the utilities buy "green" power like this).
Does anyone have figures on the value of the solar energy produced vs what has been spent(and lost)on it so far?
Theey just started a small scale solar program through the power company near where I live. People can sign up for it,but I’m not sure how this works. Anxious to see how this works out down the road a ways.
