I don’t have a problem with imposing the tariff.
Btw, I have family members that make their money off the industry..but more in a second hand kind of way...and it trickles down to me.

Why isnt Trump jumping all over it? Its business. Ive long said America needs to be run like a business and we need a businessman, rather than a politician, in the White House.
Again, IMO, to understand a lot of what Trump does/does not do you need to think like a business person, not a politician. Right now, putting a stop to the Canadian timber dumping will only help America, we dont have a lot of other issues to iron out with Canada so slap a tariff on them and let them whine, theyre good at it. Not the case with China, there is a lot of ironing to do. Now is most definitely not the time to start slapping them with tariffs, we have too much potential leverage to negotiate and we need them to help with N.Korea. I firmly believe that Pres. Trump will deal with China and all their unfair trade but timing is important in any business deal. I could be totally wrong, Im no expert, but that is how I see it.
