I’d like to see cancer eradicated in my lifetime, but I don’t think it is likely.
It is the great equalizer, isn’t it... it’s random, it’s awful, and it’s lethal.
And I’ll add - it sucks.

In many ways, the medical community is no closer to curing cancer, or at least certain cancers, today than it was 100 years ago.
That’s scary, but it’s also reality.
