I’m guessing that the way to boil an egg is to put it in boiling water. But how the heck do you make water boil?

You would think they’d have the decency to teach these things to their many mohammad and Achmed “immigrants”!

I don’t believe 20 % of the adult population in the UK can’t change a light bulb...

Or maybe 20% like messing around with annoying phone surveys: Sure I know how to rewire a plug, but a light bulb stumps me.
The study found four in 10 people aged 25 and under prefer learning do-it-yourself chores online. Thats more than twice the number in the age group who turn to an actual book for help.
Duh! I can get online free right now to see a video on how to do something while a book will give me text or just pictures. That's opposed to waiting for a few days for a book I paid for. I had to change a watch battery yesterday night and had no idea how to pop the retaining clip until I watched a video. There is no book which would have shown how to do that.

I can change a light bulb but the light has to WANT to change.

Reminds me of the current generation that mock their parents for not understanding/embracing modern technologies, YET have to Google how to cook an egg.

In other news, 1 in 5 Britons are Muslim. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

I am sure there is a rule by Human Health and Safety rules that forbids putting in light bulbs and heating anything to a boiling temperature.
