And that sentence has a long history of being wrong. Manufacturers have a long history of NOT supporting multiple formats. It increases complexes, increases dev time, and decreases stability (especially in this modern internet connected world where things get updated all the time, more formats mean more updates, means more opportunities for problems). So they’re not going to support multiple formats, so the article is wrong.
