For a long time Alisyn Camerota was reluctant to describe the dark side of working at Fox News.
She respects many of her former colleagues. She has close friends who work there. But she perceives that something has changed now that the channel's CEO Roger Ailes and biggest star Bill O'Reilly have been ousted by the Murdoch family.
"It feels as though, if I take the Murdochs at their word, they really want to know what was wrong there and what the culture was like," Camerota said.
And there was something profoundly wrong. In an interview on CNN's "Reliable Sources," Camerota said publicly for the first time that she was one of Ailes' targets.
"Yes, Roger Ailes did sexually harass me," Camerota said.

IIRC, she’s been down this trail once before. Maybe she’s trying to increase the payout now that Fox has let loose all the ‘women.’
Fox News made a big mistake when they spent over 10 million settling lawsuits.
It’s gotten to the point that if a man says “good morning” to a woman she will scream ‘sexual harasssment’. I would not want to be a man in the work force today period.
I am woman hear me whine.
PAY ME!
True.
WINNER!
Women are just as bad
And as you can see, its totally destroyed her career.
Never surrender to the SJWs.
[ PAY ME! ]
She’s trying to cash in a winning lottery ticket. Much better odds.
Know somebody who worked at a law firm. Told me they watched 3 women set up 3 attorneys (by apparently going after them). All 3 women filed sexual harassment suits afterwards; all 3 were paid off.
So true... We had numerous meetings about sexual harassment in the work place. Even if someone over hears a comment, the could claim harassment.
Case if point; my secretary got a new hair style. As I was leaving her office, she wanted to know what I thought of the style, since I didn’t say anything. I told that it look great, but I was really afraid to comment.
I retired soon after.
Hey TV news reader ladies!
You know you got your jobs, not because of any particular skill set, but because of your JC Penney/Sears catalogue model looks, right? No offense.
one of bill’s accusers said bill “Leered at me”
the danger now is that a man looking in the general direction of a woman can now be accused of ‘leering’ and ‘sexual harassment’, and if enough women who have had said man look in their general direction come forward screaming ‘sexual harassment’ - then said man gets labeled as a sexual pervert and fired-
I am NOT defending bill here- perhaps he did do some legit sexual harassments- but for crying out loud- a woman can say anything these days and get someone fired- they walk around 1/2 undressed and then scream someone is ‘leering at them’ if a man happens to glance at their near bare bodies- Heck- they don’t even have to glance- now if they so much as lower their gaze from the ceiling, it’s considered ;leering’ evidently
Incredibly many of these same women screaming about ‘sexual harassment’ turn around and embrace muslims/islam who RAPE women left and right because they feel they have a right to treat women as sexual gratification objects-
I am just taken aback how women who have their jobs for the sole reason of sex appeal have the audacity to sue over being treated like a sexual object.
I do believe that “hostile workplaces” do exist, where sexual harassment and other forms of bad behavior occur and are tolerated by (even initiatated by) people at the top who should be setting the (high) standards. I also have seen examples where the behavior of the boss is emulated by others because they think it’s OK and because there is a natural tendency for employees to adopt some of the style of those who they work for.
But I am also skeptical of these long delayed claims, years after-the-fact. The FIRST thing all employees are taught in sexual harassment training classes is MAKE A RECORD, write it down in a diary or other means that can be later used to establish a pattern of behavior over time. This is the only way you can ever win in court, having data and facts that make the claims other than “he said, she said”. Bosses are taught the same thing, if you discipline an employee, document everything. If the issue involves EEOC stuff, managers are told to get HR involved, so they can provide an independent verification. This is mandatory training in all large organizations and I’m sure it was at Fox News too, although Roger Ailes probably exempted himself.
As an employee you’re entitled to a harassment-free workplace but if it’s not that way you are also obligated to prove it, not just cast out vague personal claims years after-the-fact.
Well said
Ladies one way to stop sexual harassment is to tell the bozo to knock it off
From TTFlyer:
I am woman hear me whine
It’s the only way I can shine
And I know you should always follow the trend
‘Cause you’ve heard from Allred before
That man wanted me on the floor
We’re going for the big payoff again
Your turn, FReepers!
