In my 57 years I have flown United 8 times, American 132 times and a bunch of other airlines some number in between.
I remember reading a post on Flyertalk a couple years ago by a person who flew United for the first time in quite a while and he was shocked by the good service he had received. He said that based on everything he had read on flyertalk he fully expected to be spit on by the crew when he boarded.
Now Flyertalk is made up of a bunch of hypertravelers, not people who travel once a year. Members don’t put up with whining about routine delays and such, so if that board feels that United sucks, there is something to it all.
LOL what a time to be alive.
I love the free ticket from Trump.
My first flight on United Airlines took place on August 28, 1961, from Denver to New York City, changing planes in Chicago. Customer service was quite good—every passenger got a free pack of cigarettes.
In the 1970's, Continental had a slogan "We really move our tail for you".
40 years later they bring it back with a slight change.
"We really move your tail for you"
The sad part, customers will end up being the losers.
I must have flown united 100 times the past couple years. Never had a problem aside from the normal delays and encounters at airport. BUT here is my attempt.
United, making the TSA look good since 2017
Near future United passengers will have zero tolerance for business as usual.
Munoz was spotted last weekend pedaling a bike around a posh Florida neighborhood grinning like an idiot. United stockholders would like to wrap those handlebars around his neck.
When I first started flying I just thought the airline service was bad, that was over 35 years ago. Lately it seems the major US carriers are in a no holds barred to see how poor they can treat the customers. It must be embarrassing for the flight attendants to charge for pillows, blankets, and try to sell those pitiful lunch boxes for twice what they are worth

Just Get Off.
Your mileage may be scary.
What a drag it is to seat you.
Fly cattle class, get treated appropriately.
The States really aren’t that United either.
No hijackings since Q3 2001.
