Like most people, you probably signed up for Amazon Prime for one reason. Maybe it was the free shipping. Maybe it was the streaming videos or the free music. Maybe you wanted one special bargain and decided to jump onboard.
But even now, several years after Amazon Prime was founded, few people know the full breadth of their membership perks. They've heard rumors of different benefits, and they've always thought about rereading the full list, but then they forget.
Well, we've put together the master list of every major thing you can do with your Amazon Prime account. Granted, some of these cost extra and others aren't available in certain locales, but most of these deals and extras can be claimed right this moment.
Ready to see all 22 special Prime features? Take a breath and buckle in, because this list is pretty extensive.

#4 I thought you were going to say this:
I order a cat health supplement and Amazon shipped me a dog collar!
I was upset and contacted their customer service and they sent me my original order plus a dog so I could use the dog collar too.
: )
Me too. It’s a great way to shop, with excellent customer service.
LOL!
Damn, I thought FR was a conservative site. I canceled my account because I don’t do business with those who aid those who wish to destroy me.
From NYPost Feb. 10 2017.
A top lawyer for internet retailer Amazon is taking a victory lap for the companys role in the Ninth Circuit Courts decision to retain the temporary restraining order halting President Trumps travel ban.
Proud of @AGOWA, the Amazon legal team that helped on the case, and amici who all made todays 9th Circuit ruling possible, David Zapolsky, Amazon general counsel, wrote Thursday night on Twitter.
“I know they are a bunch of libtards, but you have to hand it to them; buying on Amazon save me more time and money than I can count.”
Agreed! It is a pleasure to shop with them, I did it for years. But at what point do we draw the line? Everyone must make their own decision on that. I stopped buying six months ago. Cannot, with a clear conscience, continue to support those “libtards”. Almost all of their merchandise is available on other websites. Much less convenient? Yes! Worthwhile? Yes!

Amazon Prime saves me a fortune at Christmas. i have 5 grandchildren in CA. and sending their gifts for free saves me a fortune.
We fly Jet Blue on a regular basis and their FlyFi is free with an Amazon Prime account. I know Bezos is a big lib but he’s saving me big bucks.
Their books are also a big reason to shop Amazon. As soon as a title comes out you get the book.
If you have an email ending in *.edu, it’s half price.
I no longer give Amazon any of my money. Don’t want to enrich the owner or anyone who condones his views/ways by working there or selling their wares on his site.
Thanks for posting this.
I’ve had Amazon Prime since it was first offered. I used to buy pretty much all of my computer books on-line, mostly from the original “Computer Literacy Bookstore,” before O’Reily had their own site, and their “Nutshell Handbooks” were stapled together (somewhere I think I still have my “Using Curses and Termcap” nutshell handbook - UberGeek mode off...)
It was a terrific deal, getting free shipping on these really big, heavy books, and the discount was awesome. I didn’t worry about putting local stores out of business, since these books would all have had to be special ordered.
Also, thanks for posting Kim’s site. She’s a TERRIFIC source for understandable tech information for people without alot of tech knowledge or understanding, and she’s GREAT at explaining it to people who’ve never used these devices.
I’ve got an Echo as well, and use it while working to listen to audio books, Pandora, or my Amazon Prime music channels (I don’t subscribe to Prime Music.)

Amazon lists the same items thru other sellers but the shipping is not included...However, in many if not most cases, those items with the extra shipping charges come to about the same price amazon is charging with the free shipping included...Just a FYI...

I have a Prime membership. The shipping is not free. Compare prices of an exact item from some other vendor. You pay for shipping.
My son’s former employer utilized Amazon internet services. The Amazon rep my son dealt with knew he was looking for a better place to work.
At a conference dinner last year the rep. sat him next to some folks from a higher caliber company and said “You guys need to talk”.
Turns out they were looking for new hire in a position where my son was uniquely qualified.
He’s quite happy with his new job.
I can’t even remember the last time I used Amazon. Hopefully at no time since Bezos bought the Compost.
I once used it. Jeff Bezos, is a pimp for leftists, muslims, and homos. Too many states are getting shafted for allowing this pimp to escape paying the sales taxes each state has coming. Some of us believe buying locally is supporting our local community. Saving a few bucks is not always the most important principle in life.
