Five out of my eight are still standing, although CHI ruins the SCF matchup a bit. But I have WSH winning it all, anyway, although that prediction is looking a little less certain since PIT seems to have their number and WSH wasn't anything special vs. TOR. EDM beat last year's Western SC finalist, so we'll see if they can work their magic against ANA. If McDavid breaks out, I could see them making a Cinderella run to the finals. NSH is the team to watch in the West, though - they have a strong defense and goaltending when Rinne is on his game, and they scored enough against a CHI team that surprisingly couldn't produce offense. I still think NSH's forward group is average, so we'll see if that is their Achilles heel.

The mass defense of NSH is new to me and interesting to watch. So far, it is working. But of course you need goals to win too. Enjoying the “mood” of this team.
