FULL TITLE: Tennessee woman claims former teacher accused of kidnapping teen groomed her when she was just 15
A Tennessee woman has come forward saying she now thinks a teacher accused of abducting one of his teenage female students exhibited 'grooming' behavior with her when she was 15 years old.
Destany Parrish, now 19, described one instance where Tad Cummins, who is accused of aggravated kidnapping and sexual contact with minor Elizabeth Thomas, 15, sang her a 'love song' in the Culleoka Unit School music room.
Cummins, 50, and Thomas both disappeared on March 13 and were last seen together on surveillance video from a Walmart in Oklahoma City on March 15.
'I definitely think, on his end, it was a bit more than a friendship its hard not to think that now,' Parrish told People magazine.

You knew there were other victims didn't you? Really I'm shocked only one has come forward. Remember this man was in our public schools. Maybe the rest are either too embarrassed or too afraid of this man not sure.
So much for the idea that Elizabeth is his one foreordained soulmate.
Back in the 80’s there was a female teacher who married one of her students. Eyebrows were raised but nothing was said or done because they got married. Marriage was still sacred to society back then so parents went along with it. To my knowledge those two are still married today so one would suppose it was more than just a fling and they were really serious.
You must be talking’ bout Newt. If they’re 18 that’s tough titty. If they go to work on them while they’re 15 it’s ok as long as they don’t touch. Thy an older man can’t wait until they’re 18 is beyond me.
Seems like things are getting a bit more difficult for Tad, been fired, facing a divorce, on the lam, no money, and a young teen to deal with. Hope Tad is capable of doing what’s right. So far?
We had a eighth grade teacher who spent a lot of time bending over and looking up the girl’s skirts. He’d pretend to drop his pencil.
So one day, every time he bent down low and stared at our bodies, we put our hands in our laps and waved to him. He turned beat red and we laughed at him. He was a sick puppy.
