I worked in a school 45 years ago, this was common. 3 teachers had multiple students pregnant. Only one was forced to leave by the girls parents. 2 of them married students and kept teaching. One of them had 2 students pg at the same time. I still can't stand to look at these men who are retired now. The one who was forced to leave is now back as athletic director at same school😫

Back in the 80’s there was a female teacher who married one of her students. Eyebrows were raised but nothing was said or done because they got married. Marriage was still sacred to society back then so parents went along with it. To my knowledge those two are still married today so one would suppose it was more than just a fling and they were really serious.
