Derby blades are average, at best.

The best blades are Feather (Japan) and Perma-Sharp (Russia). Feathers are coinsidered THE sharpest blade available. Perma-Sharp almost as sharp but a tad smoother.

My razor is the amazing Edwin-Jagger "Chatsworth Ivory 3-pc" with flawless chrome plating.

Prorasso is great. Used with a silver tip badger brush is a little slice of heaven.
