Jesus had a reputation as “friend of whores and tax collectors”. If you put me in the same category as Him, I am honored. Not because I condone what they - or myself, when I sin - have done, but because I LOVE them with the same love He has given me.

Jesus came save souls but he never encouraged or accepted their sinful behavior. Note that there where no whores as Jesus disciples and Jesus talked about helping widows and orphans, never sluts and their bastards.
