Three would-be robbers were shot and killed Monday when an Oklahoma homeowner's son opened fire on them with an AR-15, authorities said.
Wagoner County sheriff's deputies were called to the home in Broken Arrow, southeast of Tulsa at around 12:30 p.m. local time. When they arrived, they found the three dead suspects and two uninjured residents.

Lot’s of luck on that prosecution. “They made me do it or they would kill me and my family”.
The only thing wrong with this story is it was a 5.56 and not a 7.62
Wow! Such a happy ending to this story!
LOL! Watch it be a suppressed .300 blackout AR15 SBR with a slide fire stock...liberals heads will explode!
Home invasions/burglaries are very scary. Most folks don’t expect a gun in their face when they open the door, or immediate forced entry, or people quietly entering a back slider door in the middle of day. A nice dog in the backyard could have prevented this home being targeted.
The young guy did very well for himself here.
It's always dangerous to believe your own publicity.
We’re in this area, get our cars rummaged through all the time. Caught a teenage gal in my driveway trying car handles and chased her down the street. Same teens over and over - shoulda whistled for my kids, we all carry !!! Just didn’t have time to grab mine on my way out the door to chase her down
That last sentence has a nice ring to it.
Impressive!
I know a lead tip 8mm mauser will make the other side of a ground hog look pretty miserable.
No.
She was several years older and likely the brains of the operation. She won’t walk.
You're correct! Additional information has been released in another news report. It turns out the home invaders were armed, and there was a fourth gang member, their driver.
Deputies say two of the suspects were 17 and the other was 18. They say one had a knife and another had brass knuckles.
Officials say a fourth suspect will likely face charges related to the incident.
The 21-year-old female, who deputies say was the getaway driver, was brought into custody on first degree burglary and felony murder complaints.
She was later identified as Elizabeth Marie Rodriguez.
In Oklahoma, those believed to be committing a felony that results in a death can face murder charges, even if they did not actually kill anyone.
A 19 year old at home at 12:30 and three burglars? armed home invaders?
Officials say the homeowner's young adult son killed all three with an AR-15.
Though they initially believed the son was 19, they now say he may have been in his early twenties.
The homeowner was also home, but officials say he was not involved.

Being an accessory before the fact, she’s also liable for murder under the felony murder rule. Babe’s going away for a long time
I’m an elderly homeowner (74) with a 92 lb. Pit/Lab cross and a 115 lb. Great Dane, backed up by one or more big guns. Such visitors might have a bit of a problem here.
Let’s keep an eye on it.
Has anyone heard how old this “son” was?
He’s aging fast. He went from 19 this morning to 23 tonight.
It’s too bad that they don’t put them on display for pics, as they did in the old West. Helps to get the message out.
