inveigle; verb

inveigle \in-VAY-guhl; -VEE-\, transitive verb 1. To persuade by ingenuity or flattery; to entice. 2. To obtain by ingenuity or flattery.

Etymology: Inveigle comes from Anglo-French enveogler, from Old French aveugler, "to blind, to lead astray as if blind," from aveugle, "blind," from Medieval Latin ab oculis, "without eyes."

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

A+++ good for him. I don't know how to even calculate what I have donated, but I donate every 3 months for the Caps blood drive, and have for years now. It's truly effortless, just show up and give an hour or so of your time and you're on your way. Plus, they give Caps bobbleheads ; )
