One of the twentieth century's truly great rock bands while they were all still together and healthy.
In Front of 2 or 300,000 people and LOTS OF POWER.
Burning the house down.

I didn't even know Mountain was still playing in 2002.
Ironically Ozzy Osbourne is featured on this track with them.
By the Ozzy is so cool standard. Ozzzzzzzieeeeeee!
Lol.
“Tommy Iommi who plays guitar with chopped off fingers”
What, like as picks?
“What? By worshiping the Devil?
That what youre in to?”
I listened to Slayer and Morbid Angel, Death and Venom back in HS and still do. It doesn’t mean I have an altar of satan in my home LOL.
That reminds me of one dude years ago who asked me “you listen to Hammer Smashed face” by Cannibal Corpse. I just shook my head and explained “so if I listen to Cannibal Corpse I’m gonna start eating and murdering people?”
“But he was a darn good tenor”
Lol.
You are a josher all right.
You just have bad taste.
Others aren’t like you.
That is so cool.
You realize there are a lot of headbangers and metal guys on FR? My accountant here in Beverly Hills is also one of Slash’s financial guys.
He’s the same guy who says John Lennon said the Beatles were better than Jesus.
He personally led dozens of record burnings.
I saw that tour in Seattle in 78 but I don’t remember much of anything except the prosthetic arm passed around with the joint, and War Pigs!
I wonder whos arm that was, and if they ever got it back?
The ridiculous post you were responding to reminds me of the crap we were subjected to in the early 1960s. :-)
Thanks for the link. Great concert from Donington in 2005. I like how the crowd has a British accent when singing.
I saw went to a rock concert at Angel Stadium in 1978:
Boston: nerdy, big sound
Sammy Hagar: red colors everywhere
Van Halen: pure rock
Black Sabbath: Ozzy said “I love you” every five minutes.
Four monster bands was too much for one day that was hot and dusty.
Good list of bands you have there. Saw Slayer with Motorhead... yeah, that was the shit...
“By worshipping the Devil”
I was into that stuff when I was younger, listened to ‘Paranoid’ over-and-over.
It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with dyslexia that I found I had sold my soul to Santa.
So I got some nice sweaters.
You’re just so righteous... /rolls eyes
Sabbath’s “Hand of Doom” did more to scare me away from taking drugs than any other song (and I was REALLY into music in my early 20’s, so exposure to drugs certainly was not lacking). Skynyrds’ “That Smell” would have been second, and “Fairies Wear Boots” a sort of “lighter” 3rd.
Of course, as time went by, that “exposure” also exposed me to some of the wreckage, and I was (mostly) a practical sort, so the reinforcement helped keep me on a straight path, at least with respect to mind altering substances.
I suspect Ozzy will keep performing until he drops, or at least is unable to make it to the venue.
