The white guy should have avoided tying to help the racist black thugs. The low IQ thugs apparently mistook his offer of help as “dissing” them. Better yet he should have stayed out of that area.

Right on all counts. Growing up in NYC, even back in the 60's, I would have the common sense and situational awareness to avoid certain areas, especially at night.

I feel sorry for the guy. Hope he recovers and has learned a valuable lesson from this experience. Bet he's a liberal though - maybe no longer?
