Brawl at Frankie's Diner in Bridgeport goes viral (videos)

A Saturday night at Frankie's Diner in Bridgeport turned ugly when a group of young women started a brawl.

Videos posted on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter show a large group of girls eating together when an argument turns violent. The fight escalates until they are slapping and hitting each other throughout the aisles of the diner while others watch and shoot video on their phones. One video shows a girl being thrown onto a table and then back down onto the floor. (snip)

Frankie's Diner had no comment about what happened except to say that it's sad "what these kids are doing" and how much social media has been posted about it. They hope to not have to close their doors because of it.

Several Bridgeport Police officers were dispatched and requested to disperse a crowd; no arrests were made.

A YouTube video sent to the CT Post was posted by a user who said he received the video from someone else; he also said he does not know anyone who was there.

In fact, it seems many of the videos circulating online have been passed around; many posts have captions like "Got it from somebody page" or "don't say nothing just watch and RT" (the latter has been re-tweeted 423 times).

Seriously dude? Police being ambushed, protests against the police, songs about killing police, total lack of respect for the badge ... but now you want to complain about the lack of them when there's a fight amongst yourselves?

Upon a friend's advice, my wife and I found ourselves in a Ghetto Restaurant this past weekend. "Minority" kids ran screaming down the isles with no parental supervision. One kid in the next booth took handfuls of food and threw them about. Another young girl ran from booth to booth, throwing herself onto the seats of occupied booths. The noise was very loud. When the family in the next booth finally left, the staff had to basically hose it down. That night my wife got food poisoning from the shell fish.

The behavior of "minority" youth in fast-food restaurants is ever more savage and uncontrolled. I don't have an answer.
