I've lived through both, so I am able to gauge the differences and similarities. Neither are weather events that are anything to sneeze at.
A number of years ago, during a for real blizzard, a house, not far from me, went up in flames, due to downed live wires; the house was completely destroyed...inside and out.
I’ve been around a lot of hurricanes but no real winter
blizzard per se except for a few ice storms on the gulf coast.
Interesting, we have the same numbers in our sign on dates,
just in different order. Almost sign on twins. lol
