Stay Safe Freepers !!
Just because it wasn't bad for you doesn't mean it was a blowout.
We got two feet and counting. It's still snowing and will be all day with lake effect which is forecast to add another 8-12 inches.
A friend from the Buffalo area just reported they got two feet and still snowing there so they were under forecast for storm totals.
Sheesh, some people just live with their heads in the sand as if the block they live in is the only part of the world that exists. There's more of the world out there than you can see looking up and down the street.
A little over 2 feet, here. Make it go away.
I wish I could.
Have you seen the WSYR closings list?
EVERYTHING is shut down.
Last night Destiny Mall was. I didn’t see it this morning but Shoppingtown Mall is closed and SU is closed for a second day in a row and they NEVER close.
The Wegmans should be open again and I never hear of them closing for the weather before.
Our daughter let her horse out just so he could see why he will be inside today. The snow was touching his belly.
It sure is quiet out today.
I’ll be Song Mountain, Lab, and Togganburg are doing a land office business.
Funny thing is, when schools closed for the weather, cause it’s too bad or dangerous to go to school, the kids ALWAYS manage to make it to the ski resorts.

OPEN WEDNESDAY 3/15
10AM-5PM
THANK YOU STELLA!
I feel bad for the robins who came back early. First the ground froze, now, 2 feet of snow. I know they are tough little birdies, though.
It’s beyond “UGH”....
My oldest son lives in Troy, NY, and has to park on the street. He started digging his car out at 6:30 this morning, and when I talked to him at 10:30 this morning, he was still at it. He may end up staying home again today. The whole street side of the car was buried by the snow plows up to the roof of the car. And because there's no place to put the snow, he has to carry each shovel full elsewhere to dump it. He's 50, and has rheumatoid arthritis.
It’ll be the same story all over the state.
For all the whining about how the NWS dropped the ball on this storm and over estimated it, they sure didn’t for most of the region.
They called it right on for this one.
I was talking to no pardons not you, fool. We were talking about our area, not yours. Who knew there was snow on Planet Twilo!
Pssssst.......no matter WHAT you seem to believe, THIS THREAD ISN'T ALL ABOUT YOU!
Do try to calm down, lots of us got hit and some luckily escaped the worst of it.
I hope that your day is better, now, that earlier.
I won't tell you about what the town's snowplow did to my mailbox and the sleeve for the N.Y. Post, nor the rest of the craziness, on this thread; FRmail coming your way. :-)
Yes, we just got home from a funeral. We couldn’t go to the gravesite because of the snow. It’s blizzarding right now, lol!
Stay warm and stay safe!
You, too! It’s absolutely freezing out - maybe 20 degrees. Just two weeks ago we were barbequing!
It’s about that temp here too and yes, it was about 60 degrees here, a little while ago. :-(
Nutty weather, my dear!
It’s an open forum and you don’t own it.
