Stay Safe Freepers !!
Yeah, it’s supposed to drop down into the 70s tomorrow here in SoCal.
(I’d love to be in the snow)
It’s always funny that a life-threatening blizzard is always the lead story on the national news when it might happen on the east coast.
Minnesota? Iowa?
MEH!
Yes it is, schools may close at noon tomorrow and I expect them to be closed all day Wednesday.
Is the storm moving fast?
Grade A Maple Syrup? We prefer Grade B. Why A?
47° here in Dallas ;-)
I’m jealous too. Eastern Kansas here. This is the second year we’ve cheated out of a good snow.
We have been getting light snow since around 5 (Buffalo)
Only a couple inches now, still light
Even us Texans could work that. I thought it took several feet of snow to stop you Yankees.
It is fun; however the *real* factory outlets are replaced by the mall-type centers, that you can find anywhere. Tax-free is a good thing. :)
When No Conway got *discovered* I left; I couldn’t stand going into town to get supplies, unless you did it after 8PM or before 7AM....wall to wall traffic. I do miss those mountains though! They filled my soul.
It’s so cold here in North Central Texas that I turned off the fan and shut the windows.
Pulling a 53’ trailer in NJ tonight. Loading in Edison now. Coming down pretty good. Think Ill be shutting it down in a couple of house. Lots of driving jobs but I only have 1 @ss
Three to seven inches of snow and 35 mph wind is taken seriously everywhere.
I remember a summertime heatwave thread some years back. Dang near the whole country was an oven, and some guy chimes in from Alaska, exclaiming that the daytime high was going to be "in the upper seventies!"
What made me bust a gut laughing about it, was how truly sincere he was. I was sitting in my house in Texas with no a/c, and the mercury had to have been about 105°.
Uh...no generator???
Bless you, Doug. You're a real trooper.
I sold my house in Sunland in '95, and beat feet to Texas.
It's a crazy dream of mine to see my home state restored to some semblance of its former greatness during my lifetime.
Correction: 2005.
Last Friday, in Somerset County, PA. we got six inches...and by Sunday afternoon almost all gone...
Now mid night Monday here and nothing...hope this is all more ‘FAKE NEWS’...MEDIA HAS NOTHING GOOD TO REPORT ...
TIME TO MOVE ON..LET’S GET THIS COUNTRY ON THE MOVE TO NEW GROWTH.
Nothing happening, here, yet, but it supposedly will start soon. I hope that the hysterics are wrong about what is about to hit here.
