The original problem is in the states. We wouldn’t need the ability to cross state lines if the state legislators permitted it. But they won’t because there’s too much money in this. And that’s why we need drastic action. But our Congress isn’t going to do it either because they’re just as corrupt.

Maybe I’m not seeing something here, but the good news [if I interpret this correctly] is the Commerce Clause. States can’t regulate interstate commerce. That was handed to the Federal government — primarily for the purpose of de-reregulating it, and that is exactly what Trump wants regarding insurance competition.
