Slumped over drunk on the beach, necking beer on hotel balconies and performing lewd dances in front of baying crowds, these are the Spring Break shenanigans that students don't want their parents to see. Over the course of four days in Panama City Beach, DailyMail.com saw college kids get so drunk they needed medical attention, flash their breasts in public and, in one incident, appear to have sex pressed against the barriers in a nightclub. More still were seen getting drunk day and night, with some downing beer through funnels and others doing shots in the pool to chants of 'drink, drink, drink, drink!' - all despite the city banning drinking on the beach. This week, 1.3 million students, most aged between 18 and 21, head out on vacation, with a further 2.5 million set to follow on Friday.

Oh I don’t care if I was a mean mom, lol. I had/have zero tolerance for bs, and was always 2 steps ahead of whatever my girls thought they were gonna do. and “NO” was my favorite answer.
The funny thing is now i hear “me “ coming out of my oldests mouth! She doesn’t have kids , but she has a niece and has zero problem putting that teen in her place.
I think there is a bit of exaggeration in this article, and they only focus on the extreme cases.
99% of Spring Breakers probably did it like we did. Yes, there was some drinking, some people “got lucky”.....but mostly they just go out do some dancing and have a good time.
“Wait until they fill their facebooks and tweets with this. Their parents and future employers will indeed know.”
This is the real big difference between today’s generation of debauchery and that of 20+ years ago, now there is at least 10 cameras recording one’s acts of stupidity to be immediately released for public consumption.
Instant embarrassment.
Apparently there are no mirrors around the beach.
Nobody wants to look at pics of college kids behaving themselves.
My kid and his buddy’s went on a tour of Air and Space Museum’s last this. This year, they are going camping.
I basically told him if he ended up in Florida, the locks would be changed, his car, that I own would be sold and all the college money would dry up.
His career, as well as that of his friends will all require very solid security clearances so they don’t screw around.
Heh heh, since I went to college in Florida, I didn’t have that problem. ;)
Sounds like a great kid!!!!!!!!!!!
I drove my son down to the high school for some dance a few years ago - he was just going to meet up with some buddies.
We’re pulling in and I commented at all the girls hanging out and/or walking in.
“So I guess a bunch of the guys just hired hookers as dates?”
He laughed!
One of four. All turned out well.

Welp, at least I see a lot of black kids and white kids partying and getting along together. That’s encouraging!
Screwing around won't get a security clearance denied. It's lying about it.
Understand, but they don’t want to take any chances.
Plus, it seems they are all good kids and frankly in my opinion, good kids don’t drink till they puke and screw whatever they can.
That level of behavior is antithetical to the Christian values we practice.
Last year a gang of Blacks raped a passed out White girl while being taped on cellphones.
Fortunately, Panama City is not San Francisco. They were tried , convicted, and sentenced.

Pictures in the article seem to illustrate a much higher ratio than the 13% population percentage. Possibly a lot of local color instead of out f town college kids.
Last year the Sheriff of Bay County said the real troublemakers were the “100 Milers”. By that I assumed he meant the ones who lived near enough to drive to PCB and not rent a room.
A Federal judge later called the Sheriff’s comments racist. I had no idea what the Sheriff meant until then.
For 3 years, we went to Key West. Very nice. Lots of fun.
One of my frat bros got picked up by a cougar and spent the week at a sweet hotel that was much nicer than the tent he brought.
