There was a show on one of the history type channels a few years ago about JFK. They interviewed Hugh Sidey a lot and he knew a lot.
He clearly liked JFK but did not shy away from admitting his bad points and there were a lot.
I think this story has been around a long time but probably never will know for sure whose baby it was she killed.
Nope, you’d send them out of the country to do it. Most likely, to Mexico. They were doing that in the 60’s and I’m sure before that.
Fake News? Probably. But isn’t it sad that we can trust NatEnq to have more credibility than CNN or the New York Slimes.
Suicide rates skyrocket after an abortion.
Sorry to burst your bubble. I had a friend in 1968, in a small town in Illinois, who had an abortion. I was so upset when she told me what she was going to do as I remembered that woman, dead on the hospital lawn, on the cover of Life magazine. She told me her mother said it is really routine (I guess her divorcee mom had had at least one abortion herself). She said ‘You have it done in a hospital and they just call it a D and C’. Do you really think Monroe couldn’t have been able to get an abortion??
In 1960 as now, money talks. And both Marilyn and the Kennedys were rich. On top of that, the Kennedys were powerful. If the money wouldn’t keep them quiet, the threats of a powerful political family would.
CC
very true!
I read book years ago which quoted her maid? Nanny? handler as saying she stunk, had to be threatened to take a bath/shower and that her vagi-gi was always peroxide burned from her bleaching her hairs. Not my kind of slut.
JFK was slime. But all the stuff about Marilyn Monroe is a myth dreamed up after that gross birthday bash where she sang to him.
They need to leave poor Marilyn alone. She did nothing but bring magic to the movies.
Exactly. At this point in time, our local hospital actually posted the names of the admissions to the hospital with the reasons for admittance. And yes, they did often list D and C as the reason for hospital admission, in our local newspaper. My how times have changed.
“I have frequently noted a kernel of truth in most National Enquirer articles. This story would be tough to prove however.”
The story cites unnamed sources.
The ‘at this point in time’ referred to 1968.
I’m gonna gross the guys out here: women who are ovulating often get a round tummy - almost like a fake pregnancy. Also, Marilyn, like many women, was constantly fighting the battle of the bulge. She was a champagne drinker. Just check out her sublime performance in “Some Like It Hot” if you don’t believe me.
“I dont believe it. Abortion was not legal in 1960 in the US and no hospital would touch it. They might have cleaned up after somebody did the termination in his office, but they would never have deliberately aborted a baby.”
I bet it was readily available for the rich an famous in California by 1960! It WAS a STATE issue, and NOT Federally regulated, back then.
That *could be a “baby bump”; but then again, it might just
be a large meal she consumed for lunch - causing a pot
belly.
Post abortion depression often leads to drugs and alcohol. She ostensibly died combining booze and sleeping pills which were the Hollywood preferred drugs.
That’s a terribly sexist partiarchist thing to say.
Non outies often reverse that condition when their pregnant bellies begin to swell.
