Adopt Chic-fil-a’s employee hiring, training, and support practices along with their level of quality control....
KYPD
Service is the key. When you have substandard and inconsistent sanitation and the food is consistent mediocrity all you have left is a smiling face and quick service to bring the chain back from the abyss. It appears McD’s will continue in the course above with hopes that billions spent on marketing will save them. To bad executives in most companies have never been face to face with the scum low lifes like me that actually pay their salaries.
FU! McD’s
Yeah, but it kinda creeps me out how polite they are.
Like in a horror movie (Stepford Wives, etc.).
I ate there today and they must’ve said “Thank you” every sentence, and I replied, “Thank YOU” and it just kept cycling from there.
I like a certain amount of distance and apathy from my fast food workers.
No kidding. Not a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A’s food, but I’ve always been impressed by their customer service. I’m guessing the young people at Chick-Fil-A don’t make any more than their counterparts at Mickey D’s but they’re light years ahead in terms of courtesy, attention to detail, and efforts to please their customers. Obviously, the company does a very good job in screening their employees, training them and getting them to buy in to the company’s values.
Read somewhere that Chick-Fil-A generates more sales per outlet than any other fast food chain. They outsell KFC with less than half the number of outlets in the U.S. and of course, Chick-Fil-A restaurants are only open six days a week. Good product, delivered by a friendly staff in a clean, welcoming environment. What McDonald’s was—about 40 years ago.
