So when John Angelos, the Orioles executive vice president and chief operating officer, appeared on a local podcast this week, he was asked about the idea of inviting President Trump for a first pitch at Oriole Park.
Ultimately that decision is with the ownership group as to what major politicians and political figures and societal figures they want to invite, Angelos said on the B-More Opinionated podcast. I know that the administration has taken a lot of criticism for its controversial positions; I think more so perhaps for statements made both during the campaign and since the administration came in concerning things that are considered to be problematic from a race, ethnicity, religious, gender, disability [standpoint]. People in those communities have been spoken about very negatively by a candidate and now president.

They can apologize to President Trump any time they want...
Sure, get involved in Politics... see how well it worked out for the NFL?
Please Tell Them To Put Their Baseball Where The Sun Don't Shine.
Yours Truly,
A Real American
This is all so repulsive. Back when the NHL had ones like Bobby Hull or Frank Mahovlich or Guy Lafleur even and the NFL, NBA, and MLB had similar personalities, you would not have heard this sort of garbage from the owners and other twits who nowadays think the sport is their own creation.
Why would Trump travel to Baltimore to throw out the first pitch? Has he shown any interest in doing so? Has Angelos invited him to do so? What a crock.
I’d rather watch President Trump tee up a “press” ball and whack it 300 yards.
I’d even give him a couple of Mulligans if he wanted to switch outlets.
Maybe have Jake Trapper lay on his back and push up his lips (smooching style) with the ball on his lips. (Just imagine the scene.)
“Why would Trump travel to Baltimore to throw out the first pitch? “
exactly. Another butt-hurt Hitlery supporter. The loser can cry me a liberal river.
John Angelos shows his poor perceptive ability when he does not recognize that the media, through propaganda, has shaped these negative perceptions of President Trump. Because of that failure, I would not let Angelos near the reins of power for the Orioles. it is time for the Orioles executive board to have a serious talk about Angelos’ future.
Trump: “I’m sorry...you’re team sucks. I mean it really sucks, big league and I’m really sorry about that. “
Maybe MLB needs to lose its exemption from the anti-trust laws?
Believing the MSM spin.
There is a strain of progressivism in American life, and if we can reflect it, I think thats a good thing, he told the Times.
Yeah, but Commie Obammie was a terrific skeet shooter.
I think this President is too busy to go to an Oriole game anyway.
Someone should tell him to grow up.
Trump is a Yankees fan. Why the hell would he want to throw out a ball at an Orioles game?
