I wish he would just go away, but unfortunately I'm forced to face the truth, he may be 100% correct. Hopefully his comments will motivate some in congress to prove him wrong.

There will be hell to pay for those a-holes in congress that won’t repeal this beast.

So when you told us you couldn't repeal it because the Democrats held the Senate, and then we gave you the Senate, and then you told us you couldn't repeal it because a Democrat was in the White House, and then we gave you the White House...

That was all a big, fat lie. Right?

For me the worst part of the legislation is the attack on human rights, which is the reason for the below letter.

From: Retain Mike Sent: Tuesday, February 21, 2017 11:50 AM To: WSJ Letters (wsj.ltrs@wsj.com) Subject: Obamacare Destroys Personal Freedoms

“Death Panels” within Obamacare mean rationing healthcare by eliminating personal freedoms.

Rationing means government not reducing, but refusing to pay costs. Bureaucrats now have tools to control chronically ill, elderly, and disabled people. Obamacare added over 100 new boards, commissions, and programs. For example, a new Medicare Commission, judicial review exempt, unilaterally writes rules about utilization and pricing of medical devices and drugs needed by surgeons. The Independent Payment Advisory Board makes decisions about allowable levels of Medicare funding for therapies.

Princeton bioethics professor Peter Singer in the New York Times gave legislative and regulatory intent when saying, “Rationing health care means getting value for the billions spent by setting limits ….There’s no doubt that it’s tough – politically, emotionally, and ethically - to make a decision that means that someone will die sooner than they would have if the decision had gone the other way….The task of health care bureaucrats is then to get the best value for resources ….If a teenager can be expected to live another 70 years, saving that life gains 70 years, whereas a person of 85 can be expected to live another 5 years, then saving the 85-year-old will gain only 5 life-years. That suggests saving one teenager is equivalent to saving 14 85-year-olds”.

Healthcare regulations match a patient’s judged societal value to federally approved, cost effective treatments. Repeal and replace is critical to thwart destruction of speech and religious freedoms, prevent loss of life without trial, and retain other freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution.

I hope Boehner’s wrong, but if correct, it makes me question his motivation for making such remarks. I have to wonder if Boehner’s intention is to put more focus on Paul Ryan. Does Boehner want his job back? I hope not. Boehner was an embarrassing disaster in that role.

The Uniparty LIKES Obamacare.
The Democrats wearing R jerseys are not going to vote to repeal it.

Can anyone name me a time when our government returned any stolen liberties back to the people?
The amount of power that the ACA pulled toward government and elites is astronomical.
Unfortunately Bonehead may be right.

Dem/Rep is a struggle for power and nothing more.
Rep control all 3 branches. They are without excuse.

Trump is the only wild card that MAY make the difference.

If he (Trump) pulls this off he will have achieved the unfathomable.

MAGA

Obamacare simply doesn't work without pouring tax dollars into it, and that's our tax dollars. The liberals scream at us no matter what the situation, so just repeal the disaster of Obamacare and so be it. I'm sick of hearing liberals tout the "accomplishments" of Obama early in his presidency; the "accomplishments" were done by throwing away trillions of our tax dollars away which doubled the national debt. Any idiot put in the White House can throw away money.

President Trump needs to repeal Obamacare, and force Congress to deal with the aftermath. Part of that math will be lowering of taxes. Obama's fault for the disaster, you need to sweep out the debris before you can rebuild. Repeal!

This is what Boehner said during the 2014 election campaign: “[Electing Republicans to Congress] means renewing our commitment to repeal ObamaCare, which is hurting the job market along with Americans’ health care.”

Boehner brought dozens of bills to the House floor to repeal Obamacare. He called it a job-killer. He said it was going to make healthcare unaffordable. He repeatedly advocated repealing it for all these and other reasons. Now he laughs about efforts to repeal it and says it will never happen. This guy is lying scum.

Failure to repeal ObamaCare will result in a loss of approx 30-70 seats by the GOP in the US House in the 2018 midterm elections. It’ll destroy their base’s turnout.

[Boehner’s comments come as Republican lawmakers across the country are facing angry constituents at town halls worried that Obamacare will be yanked away without a suitable replacement]

More fake news to tie in with the left’s fake meme of town hall astro-turfing.

If they are not going to repeal it in it’s entirety then it’s better that they do nothing and let Obamacare collapse on it’s own weight.

If they are going to “fix” it, then we will be stuck with this Obamanation forever.

I say burn it to the ground, now!

So far, right now, today, he’s right.

The GOPE sent 6 repeals bills to Obama knowing they were of no consequence whatsoever.

And they’ve sent nothing to Trump knowing that he means what he says and will sign them.

Let the stinking GOPE prove that they are not liars and pretenders.

I don’t think they will prove that, because liars and pretenders is precisely what they are, and Boner knows, because he’s a liar and a pretender too.
