Seems like poking these things is an invitation to be covered in yuck.
I’d fashion hollow arrows from 1/2” steel conduit tubing, taper sharpen the business end and then spear them from a safe distance.
People like you are the reason we can’t have entertaining stories/vids.
But I suppose the flip side is there is no reason we need to be the subject matter of these vids.
