We skipped Church and drove a few miles north to visit a family member who lost his wife to cancer in December. They had planted 700+ semi dwarf apple trees on about 3 acres and prune them to six foot tall and sell at farmers market, a local grocery chain and the school district buys the undersize crop. Pruning is almost done in these photos. They also rent the property to photographers and weddings etc...
