My grandmother had a boating accident and her AK-47 got dumped into the lake.
I swore I thought this was Larry the Cable setting up a joke!
Grandma lost her AK-47 while fishing for sharks in Lake Nicaragua. She was taking a break from hiking around the Masaya volcano 25 km SE from Managua.
I just checked, amazingly they do.
You’ll like the Zhukov stock. I personally prefer shorter stocks, but this stock extends for those who enjoy a longer length of pull.
I have one - it does the trick and is tight as hell. My personal favorite is a Beryl collapsible stock however.
Can I buy a quart of pickled beets from your grandma?

“I still get letters from the home owners association about the WW2 Sherman tank parked in the driveway. I guess theyre afraid to knock on my door. They want me to move it to the neighborhood boat parking lot.”
Hells bells, man. Move it to the Marina and start sinking boats. That could start a new chapter in neighborhood warfare.

Of course you can. Bring your rifle along and she’ll take you fishing. Oh...wait.
I’m rather fond of my WASR. I did replace the trigger, but that’s a minor issue.

Ah, I remember that area very well from back in the early 80s and fighting the Contras.
I have a Polish-made Radom underfolder which I happen to have bought from Atlantic. It has been everything I could ever hope for from an AK, absolutely stone reliable. Never a hiccup and I run it suppressed most of the time on crap-cheap ammo with no adjustments whatsoever. But an AK is still just an AK, and they all have ergonomics second only to the short-handed shovel. It’s a great rifle to bury in the back yard in the event of TEOTWAWKI but it’s the last long gun I’d grab from the rack to answer the infamous bump in the night (I guess that makes me an EBR pimp).
The Radom factory in Zastava is the small arms manufacturer for the Polish army, quite a legendary facility. Their roll mark is an 11 surrounded by an oval. At the price I paid, IMHO, it’s as good as an AK gets.
Radom made a nice 1911-type 9mm pistol.
Good. That stuff was becoming a hazard to navigation.
You could also do grandma a favor and shop Armslist.com for private a sale.
Call me when it has at least a 30 round capacity and can still be lethal at over 500 yards.
