How can I go back to view my old posts without going back on self-search one page at a time?
You can’t. No way that I know of.
I think you can just use google +”by JimRed” +:Free Republic” and that will get them (and some noise) for you, though not necessarily in any order.
You can also search by User Name.
Here is an example of a subject I wrote about and google’d:
telecom history and how we got here freerepublic.com vendome
Here is the result. I am 1st at top of page:
https://www.google.com/search?q=telecom+history+and+how+we+got+here+freerepublic.com+vendome&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
Google:
“key words” freerepublic.com JimRed
I think you can do a search by User, with your name in it.

...you’ve made the first step....ask FReeps...
Tried it. Same as clicking on self-search. Still one page at a time, most recent first. If I could just switch that to oldest first...
No way to search by specific date that I know of. However you can search by articles
you’ve posted which will eliminate all your comments.
I sometimes do a search (sorry, have to use Google) by typing in: “(username) + freerepublic + (some keyword here)”
And thanks for the suggestions, gang!
Also set your return to maximum comments/articles which I think is 250.
You'll just be embarrassed by all the crazy stuff you wrote.......
An internet search is the best way to find old posts on FR.
I recently found my very first post that way.
Site:freerepublic.com +"JimRed" words you are searching for

Use Google Advanced Search (used to link from the Google main page, but now you have to Google it).
You can set site (Freerepublic.com) and search term (your posting name)
They used to have date parameters, but it looks like those have disappeared.

From what I've figured out that number is the number of posts. That example is from my "next page".
Just change one of the numbers - start with the first one and make it a 3 and hit enter. Change the numbers in the address bar. Don't add a number change it. Once you hit enter it will take you back a ways. Look at the posts. You'll see how far back you've gone. Keep lowering the number till you get to where you want to go.
Search for your posts, then observe how the web address changes as you view each page.
You can then manually change the web address and skip months at a time until you find the time frame you’re looking for.
