So, what happened to the wife?

I saw in one article she was outed (name, age) along with her husband (name, age, reference that no charges would be filed). So in addition to his broader congregation, there's 4 specific members he has included in this public dirty laundry: the "other" woman, her husband, the pastor's wife, & the pastor's son.

The interesting part is to watch the 8-minute clip of the video where the pastor is "apologizing" to his congregation, which is largely supporting him.

The one good thing in the message to his congregation is he asks them NOT to defend him in public, because "you can't defend sin."

But he's not stepping down; he didn't indicate any break to work on his marriage. It sounds like he thinks he can just move on and continue publicly almost like nothing extracurricular has occurred.

Thanks.

Odds are this isn’t the first time he’s done this, and the wife is aware of it.

Rank has its privileges, and not just in the military.

I remember having a black girlfriend, and going with her and her family to a couple of sermons at a Baptist church. After the services were over, it was "tradition" that the service goers would stick around for a while for "discussions". What I remember most is how my girlfriend and her family and others in the congregation, would openly discuss who the pastor was "doing" that week. Every week, somebody different was being discussed, and it seems that nobody saw anything wrong with what the pastor was doing. To me, it's similar to how the democrats allowed Bill Clinton to do as many women as he could, just because he was serving a "greater cause". Needless to say, I told my girlfriend that I would never again attend the services after going 2 times; we broke up shortly after that.
