It sounds like he thinks he can just move on and continue publicly almost like nothing extracurricular has occurred.
I remember having a black girlfriend, and going with her and her family to a couple of sermons at a Baptist church. After the services were over, it was "tradition" that the service goers would stick around for a while for "discussions". What I remember most is how my girlfriend and her family and others in the congregation, would openly discuss who the pastor was "doing" that week. Every week, somebody different was being discussed, and it seems that nobody saw anything wrong with what the pastor was doing. To me, it's similar to how the democrats allowed Bill Clinton to do as many women as he could, just because he was serving a "greater cause". Needless to say, I told my girlfriend that I would never again attend the services after going 2 times; we broke up shortly after that.

we broke up shortly after that. Good move on your part. Sooner or later, the pastor would have been "doing" her.

It’s pretty much standardation for a pastor in an urban enviromentalistic situation to engage in a little, shall we say, fortification with the ladies of the church. It’s just a way to let nature take its natural routeification.

Good thing you didn’t stick around long enough to marry the
little black girl. You might have ended up eventually
involved in an unholy triangle. - This preacher in the
story is ignorant & will be lucky if he doesn’t end up
with some venereal disease or the other from his
congregation. He’s an adulterer and a hypocrite. - Sooner
or later, your sins will find you out. God is not mocked.
Sowing. Reaping.
