My son was watching the kid show Lab Rats on kids being enhanced via bio-chips and asked if anyone would be a cyborg. I said his friend Leila was already a cyborg if you counted her insulin pump.

Then we had a discussion that the real world cyborgs won’t be uber-enhanced people. It will be someone with artificial eyes to replace what was damaged by diabetes and macular degeneration. It will be spinal cord implants to mitigate cut nerves. It will be artificial kidneys and livers if not tissue grafts from genetically engineered pigs or something made from your own stem cells.

We will accept such bio-engineering and cybernetics to improve quality of life and length of life. We’re a long way from enhancing people surgically bionically. And external tech like Iron Man suits and contact lenses with computer interfaces make that unlikely just because you don’t want to implant something now that is obsolete in three years.

If enough folks choose the Red Pill, people like Musk would be executed.

He and other elites don’t desire that outcome.

If you are going to think, think big. Mars and cyborgs, this guy thinks big and then puts his money behind it. OK, some of it is your money too...
