Set aside the politics of last weekend's inaugural celebrations, don't think about the crowd size, the message, the protests, and the pomp ... what's left? A lot of Trumps. Big ones, little ones, baby ones, toddling ones -- it was a second- and third-generation presidential family on rare display the likes of which hasn't been seen in such numbers since, yes, the Camelot of the John F. Kennedy era.
It's been Ivanka Trump leading the peek inside the life of her family, with never-before-seen moments of unguarded play, dress-up, and White House exploration. She has almost six million followers -- 2.7 via Instagram, 3.01 via Twitter. With the advent of a social media-savvy first daughter, the opportunity for the public to be voyeurs into the personal moments of the younger generation of Trumps is more available than ever before.
And while it's fun to catch these mini-episodes of "keeping up with the Trumps," the branding of the Trump clan is likely the paramount strategy here. The sharing of private and personal elements of the president's life are a helpful, humanizing factor for him, and Ivanka's throwing open the doors, while "aww"-inducing, could also be some carefully-crafted storytelling.

I like the one with Tiffany and her Brother :)
New Camlelot? ;)
Tiffany seem that she likes the background more.
Love that white dress :)
Of course they are telling a story. Jared wants a political future. Notice they brought a baby to an interfaith service. Why???...they wanted the complete family picture. Did JR bring baby Chloe? I dont think he did.
Ivanka is on the cover of the supermarket magazines like Us magazine.
im not sure Jared isn’t better off as an advisor. I would have moved them into the white house! Why have Ivanka out buying Ikea when she could be staying in the Lincoln Bedroom...
They say this like she’s a phony Dem! Her family life is lovely....eat your hearts out, jealous Leftist people!
I envy Trump not for his money but for his conservative children! Our adult children have become progressive zombies.
My daughter was a complete conservative. Came to me with questions about politics and when I explained it she agreed. Then she married a guy whose mother is a moonbat lib Hillary backer. Now she’s moved left. I won’t say she’s progressive but she’s definitely moved left on the line between libs and conservatives.
Donald's brother died from liver problems I think...
I feel your pain. Our oldest is a libertarian/progressive (but I repeat myself), the middle is a bleeding heart liberal but doesn’t vote (thank God), and the youngest started out supporting Carson but voted for hiLIARy his first time being eligible to vote. I think there is still hope for him, though.
Where did we go wrong? IDK. The oldest two went to private Christian school their whole lives, the youngest is finishing up being home schooled.
Sigh.
It’s much harder for young people to buck pop culture and their friends’ opinions, they’re looking more for approval and acceptance, wanting to belong and fit in, in the here and now. They don’t have the years of perspective in which to view politics. As they age, they’ll see the damage done and shift back rightward. Your efforts during their childhood likely won’t have been wasted.
Did you inculcate them with conservative political views as they were growing up? My grandkids were raised with Rush/Sean on the radio every time we were together, it rubs off on them.
I'm sorry about your kids, try converting the grandkids. BTW, what were you teaching the young one, re: politics?
