Pastor Rick Wiles: God Raised Up Donald Trump To Be The Samson Of Our Times

Rick Wiles: Prepare For UN Invasion Of America Yesterday radio host Rick Wiles declared that the first days of Donald Trump’s presidency have been so successful that they are undoubtedly a sign that God’s blessing is “oozing” onto America.

“Friends, listen to me,” he said. “God’s favor is on us. Please, please, please comprehend what is happening. It’s more than a political revolution. This is a spiritual revolution. God’s favor is shining on us. I can’t get out of my mind what Mario Murillo said Monday, ‘Grace is oozing out of Heaven.’ It’s just oozing towards us right now. I’m basking in it. I’m rolling around in it. I’m enjoying it.”

Wiles then explained that Trump “was designed by God” to be like the biblical figure Samson and crush the wicked Philistines:

I keep getting this picture that Donald Trump is like this Samson, who has been raised up by God to fight the Philistines and all the Philistines have now turned their attention away from the church, turned their attention away from attacking Christianity, and all of the Philistines are running to Washington to attack Samson. But Samson is strong enough for them. He’s been called. He’s been equipped for this battle. That is his job. That is his assignment. He’s going to beat them down. They will not be able to overtake him. He’s Samson. He was designed by God. He was created for this hour to fight these Philistines.

Wiles added that God is also blessing radio ministry and that God’s glory has been flowing: “I didn’t get home until after 8 last night and I had some visitors in the house, they were waiting and everybody had already finished dinner and I came in and I was floating, I just said, ‘I’ve been sitting under the glory spout all day.’ That’s what I felt like. I sat under the glory spout and it just was coming out all day long on me.”

America has been turning its back on God for a while now - but consider the neighborhood.

The gospel story of the prodigal son might be a bit of an insight on how our excise in free will is being observed and graced.

I believe a better analogy is that God raised up Trump as he did Cyrus the Great.

I think that picture says more than a thousand words. And I think that there were a great many Americans who were humbled and praying and seeking God’s face. I hope that it continues.

Because part of this also feels like this has a bit of “last chance” written all over it. We can’t afford to mess this one up.

This pastor should preach that God show favor upon his people by sending his Son to die for our sins. Equating Trump to a biblical figure 5 days in to the presidency is foolish. Maybe in 10 years, but not 5 days. C’mon man!

Maybe a Samson is the best America deserves.

Many of the Cruzlims were driven by a desire for God to send us an Elijah. They ignored the theology Cruz had embraced all his life (sermons by his father are available to watch online) and built him up in their minds as an orthodox Christian who would lead America back to true faith. Cruz was never that. Donald isn't either.

America has been butchered its young in the womb for five decades. We aren't in any position to demand Elijah or Moses. If God answers our prayer with a Gideon or Sampson that is more mercy than we deserve.

Still, Trump has blessed Israel and whomever blesses Israel God will bless. Not that Trump's actions outweigh granting nukes to Iran, and everyone who failed to oppose the Corker Bill participated in that. Whomever curses Israel, God will curse.

Not historically some huge Trump fan myself but I will say this: compared to Obama and the might-as-well-be-called “Muslim National Committee” he sure is doing us a solid just on the appointments front.
