For the last 8 years leftist thugs have gotten a pass. Early on in the Obama administration, New Black Panther storm troopers the label is fitting because they were decked out in ominous uniforms stood before a polling station, weapons at hand, an obvious effort at voter intimidation that drew no official action from Eric Holders Justice Department. In effect, open season was declared by the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, and the message was received by progressives.
Those days are over, now that Holders surrogate Loretta Lynch is no longer in charge at the DOJ. Even before the law-and-order new boss Jeff Sessions is confirmed:
Most of the approximately 230 protesters arrested on Inauguration Day will be charged with felony rioting, federal prosecutors said.
The U.S. Attorneys Office said the offense is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. The office said most of those arrested will be released without having to post bail and must return to court in February.
A first group of 10 men appeared in Superior Court just before 3 p.m., and their lawyer entered a not guilty plea on their behalf. A judge released all of them on the condition they not get re-arrested in the District of Columbia.
Interim D.C. police chief Peter Newsham said Friday that 217 people were being charged with rioting.

Drop them off with ISIS, they can dispose of them for the cost of sending them.
It’d be the only good thing they would accomplish.
STILL can't get the language correct:
230 RIOTERS arrested.
The protest culture has been out of control for a long time. People have every right to assemble and stage a demonstration or protest. But they do not have the right to disrupt other people’s events, or to commit vandalism. That is a straightforward distinction that has gotten lost. The simple solution, IMHO, would be to impose a stiff fine, payable to the individual or group against whom a disruptive protest is made. Friday’s protestors, for example, could be assessed a $1,000 fine, payable to the Trump-Pence campaign or the RNC. That would put a chill on these kinds of actions.
And they dont have the right to obstruct traffic.
To paraphrase an old Woody Allen line: Looking at her, it was not a moving violation.
One of the reason we have so many violent protest is because there is little down side for the rioters.
Begin arresting, trying, and jailing those that riot (as oppose to peaceful protest) and there will be fewer of them risking their freedom while having fun destroying other people’s property.
$250,000 x 230 = $57,000,000. These numbskulls keep up with the rioting, we could take quite a chunk out of the national debt.
Released without Bail for committing a Felony?
Were they doing 30 in a School Zone?
“Ill bet they were not counting on actually getting charged. Their good old days are over.”
I think we should practice “catch, sterilize, release” with these people.
Well, I would have charged them with domestic terrorism and sedition and thrown them in Gitmo for a long time. Act like a terrorist, reap the consequences.
I can believe that woman has had her face wrapped around a merkin before.
If She had Cigar in her mouth, it would look like she was protesting Bill Clinton.
“A judge released all of them on the condition they not get re-arrested in the District of Columbia.”
If they fail to appear it’s a UFAP beef. That’s when the US Marshalls get involved.

Unless they have a parade permit, yes.

There are many vacancies at Gitmo!
Is that headpiece a female sex organ or a dog anus opening?
While I think some of your observation has weight, I don’t vote at the Salvation Army store. Or at the bell ringer, either.
If those people were PAID, then wouldn’t the person or persons paying also be liable on a felony charge?
