After saying goodbye to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama boarded Marine One to depart Washington putting an end to his 8 year presidency.

I agree, but there is a larger issue here.
What gives him the right to fly out of Washington DC on government aircraft? He is no longer employed. He should pay his own way out of DC.

Plus-isn’t their full time residence now in D.C.? Why the heck are they flying out of the city in which they reside just because his job ended?? It’s just one more taxpayer funded vacation!
