He looked a lot like his dad. Sad news, quite a young man.

That’s a different guy. Mel (Melchor) Ferrer starred in “War and Peace” and was married to Audrey Hepburn.

He was also sympathetically evil in The Stand as Randall Flaggs Lieutenant.Just watched that (again) the other weekend. IFC had a marathon. It still holds up over twenty years later and he's a big reason why. RIP.

I agree, he was awesome in TP. Sad, several of the great actors in that series are not around this time. Really gonna miss Pete Martell and Major Briggs.
To: SMGFan
Damnit.
They alluded to him being Ill last season.
Rest in Peace...

Wife and I thought he might have had a stroke.

I liked Crossing Jordan...all the characters in that show were interesting. He was the head honcho of the morgue and medical examiners.

Wow. Our family was pretty close to his father, Jose. Not so much to Miguel. 61 is awfully young.

Lloyd Henreid in Stephen King’s the Stand.
Albert Rosenfeld in Twin Peaks and he had a role in the short lived Lynch sitcom On The Air.
To: SMGFan
He was a key character is many great movies. My favorite was Traffic.
