"I'm Glad There Is You", has been sung by countless people, i.e. Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Lena Horne, Julie London, Tony Bennett, Vic Damone, Sammy Davis Junior, Rosemary Clooney, Beyoncé, The Temptations, etc.
It's very hard to pick the best, so I'll just throw out to the FR group to weigh in, and tell me in your own opinion which version is your favorite.

“I’m Glad There Is You” I’m Glad There Is You is a song written by Jimmy Dorsey and Paul Madeira first published in 1941.
I love just about every rendition of the tune esp by Vic Damone, Johnny Mathis, Beyoncé, Natalie Cole and the Temptations. Only a perfect song can do that, but make no mistake. Listen to the complexity of the phrasing. This is not an easy song to sing. It requires tremendous breath control, and a keen ear that picks up the nuances of each line.

What makes Free Republic so special is that you can post just about anything. And if you get more than 50 replies, your post is considered a “hit.”
I once posted a request for Freepers to give me their recipe for the perfect “boiled egg.” I think we got almost 300 replies.

Just listened to Tony’s version in the car.
Amazing clarity, number one, and like I said, the tonal and breath control is second to none, for number two. He makes a difficult song, like this, look easy.
